hi, the skin in my face is oily and my arms n legs are dry...... i dont lknow what that makes my skin type.........anywyas can u suggest a good brand for cleanser, toner n moisturizer?

I also have dry skin except on my face. I use lotion on my body (a lot). The lotion I use is "Suave w/ Cocoa Butter" - and I love the smell of it. Oxyclean w/ 10% benzoyl peroxide (or anything w/ benzoyl peroxide works best for my face. Benzoyl peroxide is what is in the Proactive cleanser but it is fairly easy to locate facial cleansers at the grocery store for much less money that contain Benzoyl Peroxide (Clean & clear has one called "continuous control". I can guess that Proactive works better that store bought but if you are looking for a cheaper solution I would say anything w/ benzoyl peroxide. Also, for sunblock on the face (important) I choose an oil free (Aveeno or Wet & wild). Wet & wild just came out with a new line of face care.... I like the whole line of facial care (especially the non-drying toner {non-drying because i don't want to be too dry} - just not oily), but I prefer benzoyl peroxide as my base cleanser over the cleanser in the Wet & Wild line of products.

If your face is oily you should no put moisturizer on it. Use soap on your face. I is all marketing about using special face things. All a moisturizer does is seal in your skin. With that in mind if your legs are very dry coating them with Vaseline after a shower is the best. You rub off the excess after 5 minutes.

Proactiv is a great product and it's very affordable. My daughters use the products even though they don't have acne.
Your legs and arms may be dry because the soap you are using is too harsh and drying. Try dove, ivory or neutragena.
You can buy Walmart brand lotion and apply after each shower of bath. If you use it everyday you will see the difference in no time.
