Born in England but lived most of my life in Wales with a Welsh mother and a part Welsh father. I have always counted myself as Welsh and am very proud of it. My husband is English and there is a lot of laughing and joking when it comes to the Rugby!!

I have researched my family tree
Parents - London
Grand parents - London + Welsh
G.Grandparents - London + Welsh + Cornish
A few more generations back and there's a bit of Geordie and Scots thrown in the miix, too
My surname is a *particularly* Welsh name

My paternal grandfather was welsh so officially that makes me 25% Welsh, 75% English. I just call myself British though. Why? Who wants to know?

I was born and have lived in Cardiff for 33 years and am most proud of both.
No, I do not hate the English, that's only for mentally challenged Welsh folk.

My wife is Welsh and says they are as narrow minded as the valleys they come from. She left when she was 21 and wild horses could not drag her back. Too free a spirit as a young girl and felt stiffled. She met and married me so I guess I set her free.
