Could you recommend a hotel for a family of 4 to stay in (2 adults + 2 children ) in NYC around Christmas?

It needs to be clean,decent sized rooms and either in Manhattan or located in an area from which Manhattan can be accessed easily. I'm asking because some of the quotes i've received are very high and I was wondering if there are any chepaer alternatives.

in NYC around Xmas will be expensive. Try hotels.com and see if they have cheaper prices.
