i know what you mean!! may sound strange but tescos do a boxed red (think it is call country house or something similar) that is the nicest one i have tasted so far - failing that add some lemonade to sweeten

If it taste like vinegar it means that the wine is bad, bcz when you have (real) good wines it's nothing like vinegar.

South african red wines are very good.....the saffas have a taste for Decent, sweet wines.

I used to buy a Lambrisco (I think that's how its spelt) red which was nice and sweet and sparkling. It's about 5-8%.

Rose, but also a South Africa sparkling red wine JC Leroux is good not sure where you can get it though.
