it is dark brown, long, thick, and bangs are a must. I am getting sick of the tangles and weight.

Layers, lots and lots of layers. For some added punch get some streaks or highlights, but ensure you keep your hair long enough to put in a pony tail unless you want to HAVE to do it every day.

Get the bangs, go with shorter hair - but not too short, and have it feathered and thined.
Thinning is done with a type of scissors.
Have you hair cut in stages. Little here, little there. Then you can decide how much you want off without loosing it.
Don't let your friends cut it , they will cause split ends.

go wild honey!!! i would say slsnted layers that go from your chin down it looks great on me but it doesn't work with bangs! what i'm thinking of having done is short hair (sholder lenth) with sideswept bangs, hey if jessica simpson and jessica alba can pull it off so can we!!!!

you can still have the length. But let it cut with "effelier-siccors". It makes your hair a little bit thinner.
