It won't if you have a Work phone as well- but some Credit B, think this is a way to dodge creditors, so be careful.

No, i do not believe this to be relevant to your credit score. Not if you were paid up, when you canceled your land line. However, if you still owed money or had a pending contract and did not pay the penalty bill to get out, then, yes, the credit score will go up.
