but my cat is lying so warm and comfy on my lap purring, should I stay here and let her have a cuddle?
I'm going away for 4 days tomorrow so this is my last chance for a cuddle. but i REALLY need to get on with some stuff

I have the same problem. I have 4 cats and when I get home at night by the time they've all lined up and had their cuddle ration, it's time to go to bed therefore nothing gets done! I say, carry on cuddling.

Anyways, i would have opted for the cuddling for the kitty. Especially if you are going away. I'm sure the kitty would miss you. It is so nice to snuggle with my cats. Plus, the stuff you need to clean will still be there later!!!

B*gger the cleaning. It will all be dirty again when you come back from your 4 days away.

Dogs have owners...cats have staff....sitting quietly whilst she sits on you is your job as far as she is concerned...lol
She will move eventually...when she's ready...otherwise she will get the hump with you
