Yes, it should not be celebrated in school...

However, I would let the kids go wild with the candy at home. Of course that's easy for me to say since I don't have kids!! I'd hate to have them miss out on all the goodies, though. That is cruel and unusual punishment as far as I'm concerned. I no longer take part in Halloween, but that doesn't mean I can't make up for it with my nieces and nephews on another day with goodies and games or something.

When I was very little halloween costumes scared me. When I grew older, I got used to it. As an adult, I don't promote it. Nor do I celebrate it. It's not that much fun for me. But that being said, their are some little children in my neighborhood that seem to enjoy their parents bring them for candy and dressing up.

Holloween is a sham. Celebrating the ugly, scary and dead just
for some free candy.

Halloween is a fun holiday that allows kids to dress up and play. I don't see anything wrong with dressing up.

I think it's fine. Why not? It's not a religious holiday at all, unless you're trying to insinuate that it's anti-your-religion - and however YOU decide to interpret Halloween, that's not how it was meant.

Holloween is a great holiday and should absolutly continue to be celebrated, there are no religious affiliations or overtones to it, and it encourages creativity and imagination
