Labrador Retrievers are the absolute greatest dog. They arr very loving, loyal, and versatile. They are also the biggest clowns. My Lab will do anything for a laugh or attention. He is a very large Lab at 116 lbs, and tries to squeze into the smallest areas, he always gets himself stuck. He throws himself on the ground and will ake all sorts of noise until someone comes over and gives him attention. He likes to steal everything and anything and will show to you so you have to chase him. He gets into lots of trouble but its always to get my attention. They are highly intellgent dogs, so they do know how to get what they want.

Funniest? I'd say an 8 month old Basset Hound. We have one, she is extremely smart, she learnt to sit, lie down and stay, very quickely. Just show her a cookie and she's putty in your hands. She likes to jump up and lean over my lap and try to lick out my coffee cup. Or she'll chase our dachshund instead of the ball when we play fetch. She is truly hillarious with those ginormous ears flapping behind her when she runs. Oh and she just loves to pounce on anything and everything.

Labradors are best companion dogs they are fun and very active. But for small breeds. I would say the funniest of them all are dacshaunds they are actvie sweet and looks funny and acts funny as well. I have a dacshaund . . . he's very sweet and very active. Would you believe that he is my alarm clock in the morning.

Boston Terriers are the real clowns of the dog family..They seem to never get too old to be funny and clownish..

As far as funniest dogs as a breed .... jack russels!
Every breed has their clowns and jesters, but jack russels seem to me to BE the jester breed! LOL!
