You can get sprays from household catalogues (like kleeneze, betterware and even lakeland limited) that specifically target pet pee smells. also try pet shops and vets, they might have some.

This Question gets asked so frequently on here....

Household disinfectants do not work....they simply mask the smell to you! I recommend you use a Biological Washing Prowder in solution which will break down the protein enzymes in the urine and the smell will go and will also discourage your puppy from using this area as a 'toilet'

Then if required you can use a suitable stain remover or pet fresh product once you have treated sufficently.

Nature's Miracle. You can buy it at Petco or Petsmart or on the websites. I order it from Petco in the gallon jug and it lasts for a while. Nothing works better to get out pee smells and stains. Also works on dog smell in blankets or on furniture you spray it on. Cleans up dog poo stains like magic. Not terribly expensive either. I have seen it on Ebay also and in some pet catalogs. All the other stuff does not work so don't waste your money.

Unfortunatly there is no way you can ever get rid of the smell. You can as far as your nose is concerned, but your puppy will still be able to smell where he/she has been, and there is no cleaner no matter who sells it, will ever work. So dont waist you money, just clean it up with carpet cleaner, but keep the pup out of this room.

Dump the carpet and put down ceramic tiles. Simple. Otherwise your house just smells like a Piss Pot .

you could try some mild solution of soap and water and then rub in some lemon oil or lavender oil. it worked when my dog was a puppy. Or local supermarkets normally sell a carpet shampoo for accidents from pets. x

Biological washing powder.

The cheap stuff works as well as any other.

I can't remember where I got that tip from, but it worked when my dog peed on the carpet.

Be careful not to use ordinary household disinfectant, especially if it contains ammonia. The dog thinks it smells of wee, and will do it again.

you have 3 ideas, IMO. in case you have a house steam/carpet cleanser, optimistic you need to located carpet spot cleansing brokers into the water vessel, jointly with Nature's Miracle or much less complicated answer. i've got have been given executed this many cases till finally now. 2d off, you have gotten the carpets professionally wiped clean. 0.33, must be to completely replace them. particularly cases if the urine gets soaked in deep sufficient, it additionally soaks into the carpet pad, which particularly cases even a deep cleansing won't do the trick. in case you have hardwood flooring under your carpet, the wood will additionally soak that up and the oder will probable in no way be rid of different than you do replace each ingredient AND resurface the wood under.

biological washing powder.

i used my local supermarkets own brand & it does the trick - it also removes the scents that you can't smell but your dog can, therefore he'll be less likely to pee there again as his smell will have gone.

this is a much more effective & much cheaper option than products 'designed' for the purpose - i promise!

I bought a bottle of "Urine Begone' and it really works. I bought it from www.abcdistrubiting.com for around $15. Really good stuff. You even get a mini black light with it and can see when the urine stain is gone.
