Not at all. Superstitions are just suggestions; words which have flowed out of somebody's mouth. Thoughts which have been planted into peoples heads and infused with some kind of negative association.
13 is seen as unlucky because there were thirteen people present at Christ's last supper. Black cats are seen as unlucky because one crossed Napoleon's path the day before he lost the battle of Waterloo.
Our thoughts create our realities. If we are lead to believe that something will bring us bad luck, and that thoughtisrepeated often enough, it will be reproduced as realities. That is why you have to take supersitions with a pinch of salt. They are just thoughts with mind power added to them.
A case in point, in France (home of Napoleon) they actually believe that black cats are lucky. If any nationality should believe they are unlucky, it is French people. In America in particular, triskeidecaphobia (fear of the number 13) is a major psychological affliction. So much so that some people are scared to get out of bed or even go to work on Friday 13th; and in some cities, the number is missed out of numbering for streets and hotel floors.
The psychotherapy industry promulgates these suggestions because for them it means money, as gullible people go to see them to remedy their 'phobias.'
If only they knew that it was a load of hooey!

No it doesn't bother me. If you consider I have a beautiful black cat, this particular superstition doesn't faze me. She has crossed my path several time today and laid on my feet to keep them warm.

Only in that it just happened to me, and now I've got this evil streak of lightning hitting the ground at my feet.
I don't know how much longer I can escape his wrath...
