What are your thoughts on this question: Mexico's economy is dependent on illegal immigration to the U.S. of its citizens. Estimated 1/3 of the Mexican economy is supported by illegal immigrants sending cash back home once they work in the U.S. The U.S. is proposing radical immigration changes and perhaps even a fence. If the U.S. were to stop illegal immigration from its southern border, could Mexico become a fiend? Also consider this BEFORE you answer, the Mexican-American War was won by the U.S., but only narrowly.

America depends on the 'cheap labour' from Mexico, without it they would have to pay top dollar to U.S. workers and go through the tax system (Inland Revenue Service) thus making their goods dearer in the market place! Cunning buggers, Hey? If they had a war with Mexico today considering the difference in the two economies it would be a (no contest)
