That's not normal. I suggest some counseling and try to do some things to help you feel better about your body. Put on some makeup or wear that pretty shirt. Ignore that voice that says you're ugly and don't deserve it. Just keep at it until you hear the other voice saying you have nice legs or a great sense of style. Eventually you will hear that voice. It will still be a struggle to ignore the other one but you can manage.

It is not really about whether how you feel is normal, it is more about whether your feelings are healthy. My answer is no. Low self-esteem is dangerous, and it is easy to succomb to it in our looks obsessed society. Building self-esteem is a long process, and you have already started on that journey by posing your question in this public forum. You must have some self-esteem, otherwise you would not have had the courage to post your question, even if it is posted anonymously. You should feel good about that.

Since you know that your self-esteem is low, why not start working on it? You have internet access, so start surfing the web for sites that deal with self-esteem issues. There are also some great authors of books on self-esteem. Go to your library and check out some books on self-esteem. Nathaniel Branden is considered the father of self-esteem, I would suggest that you start there. Also, look at books on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). CBT is considered to be one of the most effective ways to change negative thought patterns and beliefs. Your brain literally makes new neural pathways through CBT, and that is why it is so effective. CBT changes your brain permanently! It is hard work, but well worth it. There are probably some good CBT websites with exercises for you do at no cost. The most important thing is thhat you get started!

If you think you have an ugly body...then do something about it! hit the gym or take up some sports...or you can try healthy dieting.

Tips:
~ NO to soft drinks or any sugared drinks for that matter. Drink plenty of plain water or chinese tea, which contains natural anti-toxidants
~ Low carbs diet
~ Eat plenty veg and fruits
~ Swimming can also help to tone your body!
~ Black clothings make you look slimmer
~ Buy more fashion magazines...some are really good they tell you what kind of clothes to wear to show off your assets and hide your flaws.

In the end, I guess size doesn't really matter if you know how to hide your flaws. =)

Nopes its not normal. People come in all shapes sizes and looks, does your thinking mean that anyone not worth looking at do not have the right to look their best? Are they supposed to look worse being trashy? I think not! They need to look respectable but since they cant sell themselves on their looks, they need to dig deeper to find out what they are good at and focus their energies finding, meeting people who admire such qualities. No one person can make everyone happy!

I won't exactly say it's normal but it's definitely common,so if common=normal,you're normal.

Hey,if you like the shirt, go ahead and wear it. Don't care about what others say..cos' you know what? The best make-up in this world is known as confidence.

Oh wow don't ever feel this way about yourself. I know many people who are not classified as great looking on the outside but have a heart of gold with a personality to go with it . I am not saying of course that you are this way but, i am saying that your outside looks are nothing compared to what is inside.
