Why not? It never hurts to ask. What's the worst answer you could get in return?
A week after getting married the phone rang in our bedroom. We had slept in and it was late morning. It was a woman who used to babysit my hubby's daughter. She called to ask him out. He very nicely said that although it was nice to hear from her after so long, he was now married. Hey, I at least gave her credit for having the guts to call and ask! Besides, it makes a really great story after almost 2 decades! :)

u dun have to know a person's status to date him or her out
ask her out as a 'normal friend' first,till u find out more then u decide how u shd handle ur feeling towards her
