The "scoop" is a device which they have cleverly hidden underneath all of the powder. Murphey's Law of Protein powder is that the scoop will always be on the bottom. Dig around and you will find it. I have found that a fork works well for poking through the powder to locate the scoop. The question of why they drop the scoop into the empty container and then dump the powder on top of it remains as one of life's mysteries. But on the positive side I have always found the scoop at the top of Pro-Rated protein which is sold in bags at Costco. (At 6 pounds for $25, it is one of the most affordable proteins that I have found.)

Then if you are curious you can take tablespoons and figure out how many of them will fill the scoop. Over the years I have purchased many products and I have found multiple different sized scoops, so you will only know for sure which size yours is when you find it. If the nutirition label gives the amount in grams that doesn't help you with tablespoons since grams is weight and tablespoons are volume. The density of the products vary. Some protein powders are very dense while others are light and fluffy. The same scoopfull of these different products will contain a different amount of grams per serving, even though it is the same volume.
