I have one...but it didn't happen to me. My grandmother died when I was 15, and my mom had to sell her house. A couple bought it, and a few months later we stopped by to see how it was going with them, because they were nice people. So I talked to the Dad outside in the garden, and he said he liked the house but it was just kind of spooky, and he didn't say why. The wife talked to my mom, and said that twice she had gone to the kitchen to get a drink of water in the middle of the night, and there had been a couple in a wedding dress and military uniform standing in the kitchen (my grandfather was a luitenant in the army). They kissed each other and turned to walk towards the basement. Two people have died in that house, and when my Mom was a little girl a train wrecked right next to their property. She heard it laying in bed, and ran out there and saw people dying. I would write this off as BS, but as a kid staying there I had terrible, awful nightmares whenever I stayed there, and still have nightmares about it now as an adult. I don't know if I am a believer, but that house was creepy. Great question by the way, I couldn't make that up if I tried. Truth is always stranger than fiction.

Fiction you can write off as fake. Truth, well, truth you can't. So when truth gets strange then things get weird. Alot of things in life are so strange that you couldn't come up with better fiction.

We would not have fiction without truth. Someone gets an idea that truly happened and then embellishes a bit and there you have it, fiction. We live in a strange, strange world. All you have to do is observe your fellow human being and you can write volumes.

Why do we need to make stuff up, when there's so much out there in real life that we can use?
