If you haven't already went to your mom, now is the time to go. You don't have to start the conversation like you did here. Tell her you have some questions in general about the whole female body. Start off slow. I am sure at 14, you have all kinds of questions. Be sure that you and your mom can talk with no interuptions. This way, neither of you will loose your train of thought.

it could be stress hun, or your body adjusting itself to the changes. I had the same thing. You could be one of the lucky ones who doesnt actually get a period every 28 days. The advice you were given about speaking with your mother is the best. If this is not possible, then speak with your closest female relative or friend, someone much older than yourself & they will probably reccommend seeing the doc just to be sure. Best of luck, good on you for being in tune to your body at your age, it will serve you well in the future :o)

I assume at your age that you've recently started having periods. It could be normal hormonal surges that are causing this irregularity, but if you want to be sure, you should go the a gynecologist and have your hormones checked. You should also get a pelvic to see if there is anything irregular with your uterus, ovaries, etc.
Don't be shy. If you have this done this will save you months of worry.

I would talk to your mom and tell her. I know it can be embarassing, but you may need medical attention.
It could be stress. There are alot of reasons why women miss their periods, but I have to say the # one reason is sex. If you did have sex tell your mom as horrible as it may seem she had to tell her mom too. It's life. You're almost 15 alot of girls your age have sex. Go to a Dr.!

Your body is still maturing, so you may not get on a regular cycle until later. Some women never get on a reg. cycle. If you're really worried ask your mom to bring you to the doc. to see if there is a medical reason behind it.

It takes a while until your period adjusts to normal. For some girls it gets balanced once they have a regular sex life. For others when they start control their stress.
It all depends on your cycle and your lifestyle.

You should talk to your mom and she can take you to the doctor, if you are scared to talk to your mom then talk to an adult that you trust. But if you have not done anything, why wouldn't you want your mom to know? It is important to have periods.

Talk to you mom abou this. It could be nothing but it is always better to check then to find out later that you waited too long to get help. Your mom will know what to do. Good luck!
