In most states yes, the legal age is 18, and unless you are in Canadian territories you may want to back off of her. Besides 16 is and awkward age, she may think she knows what she wants, but trust me it's all an excitement thing that earns her bragging rights with her friends..Especially if your Hot with a car.. Don't get caught up in some legal BS that is not worth it in the end...Their are plenty of girls your age and older and besides in 2 years if you still like her give it a spin then..

Depends on which state or country you live in.
You can search for what the age of consent is in your state or country here on the internet. If it's sixteen or under, you can date her AND have sex with her. If it's OVER sixteen, you can only date her with her parents' permission. If they give consent for you to have sex with her, you can still get in trouble if the police catch you.

If you do date this girl I would suggest you being good as gold to the girl's parents, as they could get you in trouble with the law. Also, if sexual actions are ever taken, they can get you for rape, no matter if its consentual or not.

in the uk it isnt 16 over here is the legal age so as long as shes 16 then you go for it

yeah, he is over the age of 18. although if the girl gives him permission there isn't really anything you can do is what po po told us. same thing wit my bro...... but other way around... she is 21 and he is 17. pretty much nothin was said by authorities.

this is perfectly normal and legal, it is only illegal for a man over 16 to have sexual intercourse with a girl under 16..
