Border control refused me admittance. So i went back to canada ovbviously lol... had no where else to go. got an extention on my Canadian visa .
I did not fill in a visa waiver form - dont think u need them in canada.

I am British.

Im planning to go to the states in the next few days.. Do u think i will encounter any problems with VWP..
* I could always act dumb, like i forgot about it*

It shouldn't be any problems; as long as you are will not violate the VWP.

Don't do it - they will sling you in jail given half a chance. Stay in Canada, which is nicer anyway.
