I'm deciding between two powered subs...I'm just looking for a bass boost, no window shattering.

1) Kenwood 6-1/2" 150-Watt Powered Enclosed Subwoofer

2) Infinity Basslink 200-Watt Powered 10" Subwoofer

i have the infinity basslink 200 watt. the thing worked perfectly in my rx7 but now i have a s10 standard cab and it wont fit. i would like to sell it if your interested. i used it for about 5-6 months and it looks and works perfectly. i understand they are still selling for 299.99 so i think $150 is fair. why pay full price for the cardboard box? i havent even touched the extra wires that came with it. hit me back at
rx7obsession@aol.com or myspace under "russell"

Can't say about the Infinity, but the 6 1/2inch kenwood is not that loud. It is really only good for truck cabs and sub compact cars.

However there is a Kenwood 10" you should be looking at, the KSC-WD250T. It's more of a fair comparison to the infinity, same size, same money. I've heard it and liked it. There is a -WD250 which is kind of big, and smaller box the -WD250T (but same 10" cone) which gives great volume for the enclosure size.
Do you self a favor and check it out before deciding.

I havent personally used them before but a friend of mine used one and the sound quality was quite poor. I think that if you want sound quality then go and not an massive amount of base go with a 10 or maybe even two 8 inch subs. Brand is your prefernce but i do recommend rockford fosgate. All the R and R goes into subwoofer desing and amplifier design they no longer make decks, which take a lot of r and r money.

while you're talking approximately changing the speaker driving force in ordinary terms, you need to have the skill to adhere an ohm-meter around the terminals to be sure its resistance...... offering........ that the voice coil itself isn't burned open. only only be advantageous you have the driving force by way of itself and not nevertheless linked to the leads that feed from the amp.

I'm sure either one wolud be good enough for me. Years ago I used one from Wal-mart for $50 that rocked my socks off!!! Don't go for prestige. Go with what works for you!!!
