Family? They are important to you and me. Why because you always need some one and they usually are there. Now I grew up in foster homes from the age 3 to 18. I never really had a blood line family. I hear people say how they can't stand their parents and how they wish they were not around. Well let me tell you they would not think that if they had no family at all. My family is messed up. I learned from their mistakes that they showed me. Now I have my own family and they are everything to me. My husband is my partner, but also a best friend. My children are me that I can raise with morals. My family now was hit with a horrible situation that involved my daughter. One thing I will say is that she knows that her mommy and daddy was their for her. I have not left her side from the time she was born. It is so important to have a family because they hold your heart in the palm of your hands. They will be there every second of your life. They will take care of you even when you are 50 years old. Family is everything in this world these days. If you have no family you have it very hard to learn, teach, and survive. Family is your safe house.

My family in terms of my father, mother, aunts, grand parents, etc, aren't important to me anymore. My parents were when they were paying the bills and keeping a roof over my head. But since they never cared about who I was as a person or what I was doing in my life, or anything about me, and rarely gave good advice about life in general, they mean nothing to me. They don't seem to care, so I don't care. I care about my current family I'm starting with my wife. We plan to make the best family possible, very close, because of what we both never got growing up.
So our family that we're starting is important to us because of the closeness and love there is that we never really got. And because it's our opportunity to start something the right way. And it's also a test of how well we live our lives, and passing that down to our kids to see if it works for them.

what your answer to that? family are important people that will always no matter what the situation is - will always be there for you - even if you ran away from home - dropped out of high school - or etc - they will be there to comfort you - they will be there with a shoulder to cry on -they are your smiles in time of sadness - your jokes in times of grouchiness - they are the people that will be there for you through thick and thin - your parents are the ones that brought u into this earth - your sisters and brothers are your best friends because there are times you argue and then decide to settle the differences later. they are your backbone and your strength - your encouragement - your inspirations !!! without them life will be difficult - without them you'll feel insecured - and feel like an outsider - so keep that in mind!!!

Family is important to me because it's really all we have in the long run. Once you grow up and move out and away, you then realize how important your family is. You then start to miss them and wish that you was around to go to b-day parties, births , and reunions.Friends can't complete you like family.

They are there whatever happens you. When all people turn their back, family will be the one providing helping hand. They just give love ... unconditional love.... will never ask for any returns. Family are connected by the blood. Who will u look for when u need blood? hee hee

Because blood is thicker than water.
Also family will be there for you and not stab you in the back. (well if you live in a non dysfunctional family.)

Because in most cases they are with us through thick and thin. They are part of who each of us are! We are loved by our family.
