I guess you misunderstood the term anesthesiologist. An anesthesiologist is a specialist in Perioperative Medicine. He or she specializes in care of a patient prior to, during and after surgery. This includes evaluating and preparing a patient to undergo the rigors of surgery. The anesthesiologist plans the anesthetic for the patient and then cares for the patient during the surgical procedure. He/she monitors the patient's blood pressure, heart rate, breathing, and level of consciousness and analgesia. The anesthesiologist adjusts the anesthetic plan, medications, fluids, and other parameters to provide a safe, pain free surgical experience for the patient. He/she will take care of your medical needs during the operation so the surgeon can concentrate on the surgery. After the surgery, the anesthesiologist continues to provide the care necessary to ensure a smooth emergence from the anesthetic and pain control after your surgery.
Anesthesiologists are specialists in control of both acute and chronic pain. They also are involved in the care of critically ill patients.

To understand you have to start with the basics. God's first and foremost law is that "the wages of sin is death", period. How ever if you accept Christ as your savior you are no longer under the consequences of that law (meaning spiritual death). But that does not mean that we will not have to atone for our sin. And of course it is only right that the more frequent and the more egregious the sins are the longer and the harder the atonement is. This atonement is the cleansing of our spirit. And it is well worth it. Georgia peach, your are illiterate biblical. The bible teaches that Homosexuality is a "shame" . However it teaches that homosexual "act" is the abomination. If you were born a homosexual , then how could that be a sin? there was no choice there. However there is a choice in the "act". God hate man and woman doing unnatural acts just a bad. Read Hebrews and Romans . He isn't happy with heterosexuals that practice unnatural sex either. Abstinence is the answer for both sides. So you see the playing field is a little more level that you would like to admit. But we will all fall. But as long as we really , really try 100% then God considers it perfect. Even if we fall short

No no no. Your job would just be to put people under on the operating table and bring 'em back up when the surgery's over.
Keeping that in mind, it's a tricky and dangerous job; this is also why it's so high-paying. However, I don't think you'll find any conflicts with your beliefs in it. (The only anesthesiologist I know is a Buddhist monk, actually, which should definitely show you there's no death involved!)

I have been put under ten times. I have had ten major surgeries in my life. Each time I have been greeted by an anesthesiologist and ushered into feeling the good stuff, then greeted when I came out of it. It would be wonderful to have a Christian praying over me while I cannot account for the time I am gone.

No...an anesthesiologist is someone who puts you to sleep before an operation. Why didn't you read the definition when you looked it up for spelling?
