i have a really bad back, so it is almost impossible to do crunches or sit ups. are there any ab exercises that i can do besides those?

I got an ab lounger, it works for my husband he has a bad back too.

what do u mean by 'BAD BACK" , u have pain/medical problem? then be careful before starting yoga, generally i recommend yoga watch swamy ramdevji maharaj on aastha channel and buy his PRANAYAM CD available for rs.110/ only, observe carefully all the moves and start gradually as per instructions,after few weeks you will enjoy yoga, main issue is you got to have definite inclination, determination, firm view, dedication, faith... u get the results... remember result is gradual... yoga is not magic...

best bet? try yoga.. the instuctors can help you find the right stretches that will help you and keep you in shape!
