The company christmas party is comming up in Dec. We have about 500+ employees. I'm 23 and have nobody to go with. I'm also one of the youngest person in the company. I'm not going to bring a male friend and I don't have too many female friends, they are still back in college. What should I do? Go single? I need to start looking for a date.

Go single and say your date stood you up. I did this at a company party before I had a girlfriend and all the girls felt so bad for me, I got all the attention. Just make up a girl, what she does, how old is she, what does she look like, and seem really bummed about it (not too bummed though, you don't want to be a buzzkill). You two weren't serious but this hurt you really bad, blah blah blah. I did this and took home the hot chick from Human Resources from the party. It works. Another good way to meet women is to go out to dinner by yourself. I did this a lot to meet waittresses. Go out to dinner by yourself and bring a book or a magazine (hidden at first). If your server is a dude or an ugly chick, just eat dinner and read your book. If your server is a young good looking woman, act all distressed and tell her a big story about how you got stood up by a great girl, and you know what, I am just going to have dinner by myself to spite her. Women eat that up. I have gotten more phone numbers that way. Good luck bro!

I think it is perfectly fine if you go alone. I'm sure you will be comfortable and you may even meet a girl there and you two may hit it off. I don't think you should go out and specifically look for a chick just to go to a party for.It isn't couples only so go alone and enjoy yourself!

I have a terrible track record with company parties, got fired, lost my bonus check, got suspended from work with no pay, etc.

So if you can learn anything from me, don't drink too much.

Go solo. Trust me, you'll have the freedom to come and go. You won't have to "introduce" her all night. And who knows, you may leave with someone.

Have some fun. Don't get drunk.
