I got my carilage pierced on each side of my ears today (the middle lobes i suppose) . I got it done around 3 this afternoon, its still really sore. I konw how to take care of them and everything. but i can only sleep laying on my side. which will put pressure on the piercing. any ideas to i wont irritate my new piercings. cause me pain and discomfort so i can get a good sleep ?

serious answers only, experience would be nice. thanks in advance

i had the same problem. in the end i put my hand under my head so my ear wasn't actually touching the pillow.it really helped

Well, if you don't sleep on your back, then your only option is to sleep on your belly. You just said yourself that you can't sleep on your sides, and there's no other angle to lay on.

Try to find a way to sleep on your side that doesn't hurt. Maybe just put the pillow under your neck, like Geishas did to keep their hairstyles intact? Or try to only prop up your head on the pillow from just above your piercings and on, that way, the piercings dangle over the pillow and don't get crunched inward.

Take some painkillers, too. Just in case you roll.

Hi 3mm5, You are thinking of your pierce ears to much.Relax and fluffy your pillow up and lay your head down and go to sleep.

u have the same problem as i had when i had a pierce in my nose.ucan apply some anti- septic liquid to it.and apply turmeric.turmeric is always good.for one day sleep on ur back.after the pain has gone u can sleep anyhow after that because it will not affect anyhow.

Lay a pillow each side of your head and sleep on your back, so if you roll you will land on something soft

You will go into your favorite position no matter what. Do yourself a favor and take Tylenol extra strength before going to sleep.

pain killers, tranquilezers, or mabey just put a pellow just below and one just above your ear
