I think it may sometimes be out of curiosity, but hopefully the attraction is there as well! It's kind of like dating someone with an accent or someone from another country. I dated a black guy because I thought he was sweet and smart, and a great guy. But, he was from another country and was a different race, that just made me notice him a little more.

Doesn't the same thing go around? Why would a white guy date a black girl? Some must do it for plain curiosity, for others color isn't an issue, some won't date people of other race no matter what. People are different, ain't nothing special about these things, nor a simple answer for every situation.

It doesn't have to have anything to do with color I know a few couples that are mixed racially who just love eachother for who they are. One of my good friends is dateing another one of my good friends. She is white he is black. They are a great couple. nobody should let race get in the way of anything includeing relationships.

certainly no.. They date because they love and have the 'feel'.. Curiosity doesnt kill the cat in a relationship anyway..
