The rules for buses vary from state to state, but a Red Flashing light means only one thing and that is STOP. In my state when a school bus flashes its lights all traffic stops. You can't creep by slowly, you can't yield and go, you have only one choice and that is to STOP.

Yellow lights always mean caution, but just like traffic lights the Red Light trumps the Yellow Light. For school buses the yellow light is only a warning light to make sure you see the red light that means STOP.

The yellow flashing lights on a school bus warn on coming traffic to get ready to stop for the red flashing lights, the same as traffic lights.

If the pink lighting fixtures are no longer flashing, then that's felony to bypass a college bus. If the yellow lighting fixtures are flashing, that's felony to bypass the college bus, yet you may desire to proceed with warning if the yellow lighting fixtures are on as this alerts that the pink lighting fixtures will come quickly, and surprisingly once you're dealing with the comparable direction because of the fact the college bus, if passing while the yellow lighting fixtures are flashing, be arranged to surrender in case the pink lighting fixtures come on and the supply up sign pops out.
