It is good that you are slim, but beware, you must not let yourself get used to eating like this, or you'll get fat eventually. It is normal, it will stop at some point, but you need to control it yourself to. OK, you still want to eat after you're full, well, don't. I want to eat all the time too (nothing to do with smoking, I am just greedy), but I stop after a while, because I know I must. Maybe if you find an alternative, like exercise, chewing gum, something to distract you?

Some things you MUST control yourself. This craving for food is somewhat normal anytime you try to break an emotional and physical addiction.
To help you do that, break the pattern. ( used to smoke 4 packs a day for almost 25 years, and stopped cold turkey...the ONLY way). You may find nicotine gum or patches helpful for the physical part. Please note the ACTUAL physical craving only lasts a few seconds, then your mind takes over and makes it a thousand times worse.
One way to break the pattern is do something completely different at the times you usually wanted to smoke the most. After a meal, I smoked. When I stopped, I went outside instead and watered plants, or walked around, chewed gum. The first month was difficult, but that's just the way it is.
After that I started to dislike the smell (most of the time) and that made it easier.
Now it has been 19 years without a cigarette. I still reach to my pocket in times of stress, but am so much happier. Don't substitute one addiction for another, however, control your diet. In a month, if you control your diet now, you'll be OK and able to eat normally. If not, seek the help of a professional, it's worth it.

I quit smoking and found that I was in your situation. What I did was cardio workouts to the point where my lungs hurt. The pain increased my ability to do cardio. It just got my mind off of the smoking. Working out is a great way to quit smoking.

Yes, it's normal. I'm going through it..I guess it's part of the withdrawal. I hate it just as much!! I feel hungry and an empty stomach feeling, but I have no appetite. I have to force myself to eat a few bites.

try sunflower seeds. after some addictions, you need something else to be addicted to. im addicted to sunflower seeds and their not that bad either. when your bored, just chew on something like gum. you wont want to get your gum all disgusting so you wont eat as much. yeah. try that. i recomend the sunflower seeds.

It happens to everyone, what you have to do is get on a real exercise program, it will take the craving away somewhat!
