I've heard that the fake sugar in it is addictive and is designed to make people hungry. If you don't believe that look at the people who repeatedly buy diet sodas and drink them all day...I even heard that some people say that Splenda tastes like real sugar. Someone told me about an experiment with real sugar, fake sugar, and ants; the ants didn't go near the fake stuff. If Splenda is so close to the real thing the ants shouldn't have known the difference. That junk has always been nasty to me. They just give it different names now. (nutra-sweet, aspartame, splenda, sucralose, etc.) I even heard that heard that it might be linked to multiple sclerosis....you can check that out if you like.

I don't think that diet soda is evil. I am not sure that foods or beverages can be evil. I do know that their are studies that show their are some risks associated with diet soda however, their are risks associated with everything and if you have diabetes or are overweight and feel that you must drink soda diet soda is a good option.

Yeah, I do, which is why I just switched to Club Soda. It is sugar-free (unlike regular soda) & contains no aspartame (unlike diet soda).

That's like drinking a diet milkshake. Soda is soda, no matter what you call it.
