The Republicans lost the Vietnam war. Will they bail out and cut and run from Iraq? I'm betting they will. What do you believe?

Let me remind you, the Republicans didn't start the war in Vietnam. Democrats were in power at the time. After it got started, they didn't take the war to the enemy, they kept in the South. Instead of bombing the enemy into oblivion, they bombed the the peoples land they were trying to defend. I'm sure that with your limited knowledge, you are smart enough to know if someone picks a fight with you in your yard and runs off, you will never win, unless you pursue. (Example: Gulf war of 1991. We chased the Iraqis out of Kuwait all the way to Baghdad.)
It wasn't long until certain Americans got tired of the war and instead of demanding victory they said get out. Nixon did as he was asked by the public and got us out of Vietnam, but it wasn't his fault we lost.
