Well..there is a old movie called BLACK LIKE ME, and it was about a white guy who took some special pills and tanned excessively to the point that he had very dark skin compared to before. He then portrayed himself as black, and went across the South to see how all kinds of people would treat him. After living like this for a few months, he then wrote a book which became a best seller in the early Sixties and then a film was made from the book.

SO in a strange way...at least one person kinda did.

if the bible says that a leper should be turned black, thats just saying that they are against black people.

John Howard, a jounalist in 1959 shaved his head and used injections and an ultraviolet lamp to darken his skin to experience being black in the south. His book "Black Like Me" is an account f his experience. So yes, some one tried that once. He died of cancer due to his skin treatments though, o no one has been too eager to try it gain.

Yeah, I've seen Michael Jackson too, but what is this doing in the religion and spirituality section? In God's eyes we are all the same. He looks at the inside of the cup (the heart), not the outside of the cup (the skin).

Soul Man, the movie. But it didn't really work for him either. So maybe not. Unless you are talking about tanning, but that's another story. I guess it like the question, "When a black person sees a ghost will he turn white?" Don't think so.

Turn to the only expert on the subject - ask Michael Jackson.

that means we are all human

Skin color is only skin deep.

I've seen some tan enough that they were close to it - but you know it really doesn't matter if we can or cannot, what matters is that God loves us not for the color of our skins, but for the heart we have given him.
