Jesus was tempted by Satan throughout His life, and He did not sin. Jesus was a carpenter, yes, but he also spent much time teaching, healing, and blessing the lives of many people. Oh how wonderful it will be to see Jesus in Heaven! God Bless♥

First of all Jesus never sinned, not once! He had to be sinless to be able to give His life as a ransom for our sinful lives.
When He was baptised, you will remember that John the Baptist said that it was Jesus that should baptize HIM, (recognizing the holiness of the Son of God), but Jesus said, allow it, to fulfill all righteousness; He was setting the example. Even though He Himself did not need the ritual of baptismal cleansing, He did it to show us the pathway to righteousness.
And yes, he lived in the house of Joseph and Mary until He was 30, learning the life of a carpenter and the holy scriptures that any Jewish boy would learn. But for Jesus, the scriptures had special significance for Him because in them were hidden little prophetical gems revealing His identity. I am sure that Mary told Him of the very special events surrounding his conception at the proper time (when she perceived that He could understand) Whether angels talked with Him or not is totally up to conjecture, there is no record.
But as to the sinlessness of Jesus, there are several references in the new testament.

Jesus always knew he was the Son of God. When he was very young (I think around 12) his parents panicked on a trip one time realizing he was no longer with them. They could not find him. They went back and found Him at the temple TEACHING the priests. He told Mary & Joseph he was "doing His Father's business." Had he been talking about Joseph he would have been perhaps fixing the temple but not teaching. His earthly father Joseph did train Him as a carpenter and it is believed that He worked with Joseph in that capacity to help support the family.
You don't "stop sinning" when you are baptized. You get baptized as a public proclamation of your faith. The Bible said Jesus knew no sin. Baptism does not save you. Only accepting Jesus Christ as your saviour and asking Him to forgive you of your sins saves you. Baptism is a way of telling the world.

He knew he was the son of God, but only by what he was taught by Mary and Joseph. Like any Jewish male, he would have received a daily education, in the family home, of the Jewish beliefs and history. As for sinning, no, as he was there as a replacement for the man who brought sin into the world, and to be a sacrificial lamb, to fulfill prophesy. When he was baptized, and blessed by the Holy Spirit, it downloaded into his brain all the information of his pre-existence.
Imagine what that must have been like. He knew who and what he was, but only from an analytical point of view. To suddenly have all that data, thousands of years worth, suddenly flowing through his mind.
As for the time leading up until then, as a male living in a Jewish family, he would have been working as a carpenter, along side Joseph. By the time he reach 30, he must have been an impressive man to behold.

Kelly A,
From the Bible it says that he didn't sin. I believe it. He was 12 and He knew what was going on. I imagine that He knew what He needed to know, that being given back to Him as He needed it, for before He came to Earth, He emptied Himself from all that Godly whatever, to become Jesus.

Jesus knew He was God the Son from all eternity. No-one had to tell Him who He was. No-one had to tell Him anything. He was and is the omniscient God, as well as a man.

Every child is born with purity in heart and mind. So Jesus too. No child can be sin.

even in his first breath in the womb, he knows that he's the son of God... i believe he did not commit any sin... because is he did, he would not have died on the cross fo the sins of the world... someone to be put to the cross is someone who is pure - the reason why it is called sacrifice - no sin at all.
