many women won't sit on a toilet someone else has sat on beecause they think it's unsanitary---yet they think it's perfectly o.k. to pee all over the same seat and go prancing off, leaving their mess for some other woman or child to deal with.

Unfortunately, it's a viscious cycle. Many women won't sit on the toilet because other women pee on the seat. After a while, you'd think that those women who feel the need to "hover" would learn that they're only contributing to the problem that makes ladies rooms so messy! At least if they're going to "hover," they should have the respect to lift the seat, since they won't be using it.

I agree public toilets are disgusting. For that reason most females chose to half squat, therefore you have less chance of aiming correctly. However, you should clean the seat after yourself. I always held my children in my arms when the used the public toilet - I wouldn't ever let them touch a public toilet seat and yes you clean up after them. I hate public toilets, councils should have more, you should pay and there should be an attendant at all times - bring toilets back to a service not a dump. (pardon the expression)

it is very wrong and unacceptable to leave the public toilet in a dirty condition. If u know dat u cannot sit on the toilet then hold your piss until u get home or use the toilet and leave it the way u would like another person to leave it for u.

I find it ironic that those who dread sitting down to answer the call of nature are the very ones creating the mess. Maybe they don't feel that their neighbors are worthy of respect. Or perhaps they figure it isn't important because they think everyone hovers, and therefore won't come into contact with the mess.

0.o that is totally NOT okay. If I saw someone pee on a toilet seat then just walk away, I would go over to them and tell them that I dont wanna sit on their piss and they better clean it up.
Cause its just nasty. *(that goes for people who dont FLUSH the toilet also)

I feel sorry for the toilet seat! Women can be gross and so unsanitary! I just hold it till I get home.

Guys are like that too- they won't flush, it makes me mad. One time I said real loud to a guy "I'll flush it for you". Ok, more than one time.

I think it's disgusting as well. Those people who do that are pigs....in fact, pigs are actually cleaner.
