...in Santa without being able to prove Santa does not exist? Do you consider people who arrogantly reject Santa to be misguided fools? Do you pity them for their lapse of rationality and work tirelessly to set them straight? Do you feel you must be exceptionally rational to have discovered this great truth?

Santa DOES live at the North Pole, but his complex is undetectable because he's magic.

The history of Santa is well documented? Which "well documented history" would that be, the pagan one, or the Catholic one that comepletely contradicts it?

Most intelligent and reasonable small children do indeed believe in Santa. I did. That was fun then wasn't it? Now we can watch out children love it.

Well, if Santa had thousands of years of people believing that he was the uncaused first cause of all creation and there were no other challengers to that claim and if Santa had performed miracles before many witnesses and raised the dead and provided accurate prophecies over the centuries then I would say that people should believe in him. Since only the living God of Heaven can make that claim I'll stick with Him and leave St Nick to the little children.

What's that about santa? Anyway, the answer to the initial question is yes. Intelligence has nothing to do with faith. They are seperate. Intelligent people believe or they don't. It's a choice. That's all. I am humble in my beliefs and do not consider myself to be more than anybody. I personally am happier than I ever was and feel inner peace. I pray you find whatever you are looking for. "Peace be with you." (John 14:27) Good question. Have a nice evening.

spamandham,
The history behind the subject is readily available. There's no claim as it being godly or eternal. There is only the brief history of a guy who began to give presents to those that lived near him. Not much else is even worth the pixels to reply. It's meant to delight children(it gives them wonderful facial expressions and they get entertainingly excited), and charm women (anything for the booty! lol).
Or did you miss that part?

hey, He gave us the CHOICE to believe or not but, if you don't believe then , when your time is done on this earth He will probably ask you why did you reject me and my son Jesus? and if you say because I don't believe then he will reject you fair right? because why should He accept you when all your life, you rejected Him and Jesus and He will say, "I never knew you" just something to think about not tryin to scare you but it something you should think long and hard about.
