Depends on what KIND of worms you are dealing with.
If it's just tapeworms, you have nothing to worry about. They are not directly transmissible. Each host has to eat its own flea (or with some species, rodents/rabbits) in order to get them. Eating each others' feces will NOT pass them back and forth.
If it's hookworms, roundworms, whipworms, or protozoan parasites like coccidia and giardia...then you many have a problem that needs to be addressed.
What dewormer did you use? What dose? How much do your pets each weigh?
And you have nothing to worry about with your daughter, unless she gets poop on her hands and puts them in her mouth before you can wash them off.....or, in the case of tapeworms, if she eats a flea, rodent, or rabbit. :-)
Diane, I know you mean well to help your pets, but from what you've said, you actually have very little knowledge of parasites in animals. :-( First, pinworms are a HUMAN parasite...dogs and cats absolutely CANNOT get or carry them, period. It's just not possible, which is well-documented. Second, the tapeworm 'expeller' you use is a complete waste of time/money. It does not kill the tapeworms....it merely makes the long chain of segments pass out of the body. The head (scolex) of the worm is left intact and alive, attached to the lining of the intestinal tract...and it quickly starts producing more segments. Third, piperazine is only effective against one species of worm that dogs and cats hardly ever get. It does nothing at all against the COMMON worms they do get. And it makes many puppies and kittens quite ill. Veterinarians quit using it over 20 yrs ago for those very reasons. Your post contains a lot of other wrong information, too....but the upshot is that it sounds like you are spending a lot of money for medications that are not helping your pets in the least. I'd be willing to bet my house that if you had fecal samples examined microscopically for ova that almost all of your pets would actually have 2-3 different types of worms. :-(
The vast majority of intestinal parasites can NOT be seen by simply looking at the stool with your eyes. I wish I could show you all of this in person, because I hate to see you waste your hard-earned money and not get any benefit from it for your pets.

I have several dogs #6 , cat, rabbits pig.& kids around .I don,t have lots of money to take all to the vet.I,m pretty knowedgable with them so far.I,ve rescued some too that had been mistreated ,one was shot had several types of worms.Have you examined the stools?Ones that look like a grain of rice is a tapeworm. They grow in segments, over and over.some die off and are passed thru the stool, others r left behide alive..The medicine I use for these specifically is::TapeWormExpeller for dogs.Made by,ADAMS NO MO they are located in WV. They (dogs & cats) and pigs, rabbits too even wild animals get worms from "fleas" they also can share them with other pets & people! There are also Pin worms.lil tiny worms.they are very irritating as in making the Anus ITCH..some dogs will drag there butts on the floor for releif..but this is not the only reason for thismain drug< used in wormers..BUT BE VERY CAREFUL >any time< you worm pets if they are very old,ill or acting lame (slowed down not there normal selfs and you KNOW they have worms..it,s best to give a smaller doses over a couple days, then wait 10 days and repeat with the dose recommened providing they haven,t shown severe reaction..this has worked well for all my pets :) Keep up with the fleas/ticks and misquedos i didn,t mention those boogers.Check the dogs stools every so often,And keep floors etc cat box even disinfected with bleach diluted of coarse.

Yes, if your cat has worms, your dogs will get them again. Treat all your animals at the same time, and retreat them in accordance with your vet's instructions.
See your vet for medication. I would not recommend over the counter products...simply because you don't know what you are getting. As for your daughter (worms are not caused by a virus-see attached website), see a doctor.

Treat all tha animals at the same time. If one or two have worms, most likely they all do.

You need to worm all your pets, not just some as they will only pass them onn to the other pets.also you should do the family if you have pets you need to do your self as well.
