Hindus dont need to prove anyone anything. We dont preach violence, or hatered and dont force conversions
We should continue studying our scriptures (gita and upanishadas) and reply to different questions on Hinduism on YA
If we are True...God will take care of us and he has done so on the face of 100s of years of slavery of muslims and christians and their tyranny could not kill Hinduism then... and now it is 21st century

What people call as Hinduism is a way of life . It is very free for thinkers. you can question any thing and find an answer. There have been people in the past so are also some people in the present try to make it rigid but they cannot succeed because it has answer for all questions. It is the only religion in the world which accepts all religions as ways of seeking God. It is so vast that no one can say that it is confined to this book or that book. it is not bound by books. books or sacred scriptures are guide lines to an individual yet he can follow his own conscience. It does not compel any one to any thing. ( just like a Muslim Must do namaaz 5 times a day or a christian must attend church on Sundays etc). The sanatana dharma s it is called only says about consequences of wrong doing

I hate Hindus because they believe the characters of myths as their gods and goddesses, and worship man made idols.

Hindus do not have to prove their guts. In fact hindus have never felt the need to prove anything to anyone. They just go about their way of life-which is Hinduism- and let others to their faiths and beliefs.
The defender, from his choice of words , appears to be a crude fanatic who is incapable of understanding the tolerant and noninterfering ways of Hindus.

HINDUISM IS A CULTURE THAT EVOLVED OUT OF FEAR AND REVERENCE OF NATURE AMONG THE EARLY SETTLERS ON THE INDIAN SIDE OF HIMALAYAS...(CUT OF FROM REST OF THE WORLD FOR OBVIOUS REASONS..)..THE SUN GOD WAS CREATED ...BCOZ IT APPEARED AFTER FEARFUL DARKNESS OF THE NIGHT...FOREST FIRES USED TO ENGULF HUGE AREAS...SO FIRE GOD WAS CREATED...SO IS THE WIND GOD...SEA GOD...RAIN GOD...WHAT EVER HAD POWER OF LIFE OR DESTRUCTION WAS WORSHIPPED...SNAKE BITES WERE FATAL..SNAKES ARE WORSHIPPED TOO...COW MILK WAS LIFE GIVING..COWS ARE WORSHIPPED...AND IN THESE PRESENT TIME MONEY IS POWERFUL..SO THEY HAVE WEALTH GODDESS TOO BY THE NAME GODDESS LAXMI...SO IT IS MORE OF A CULTURE WHICH CAME INTO EXISTENCE OUT OF FEAR AND HELPLESSNESS. .IT WOULD BE UNFAIR TO CALL IT A RELIGION....
