Everyone tells me that I'm hot ( don't wanna sound all high-ego-ish)...but the thing is...I'm single and I don't kno why....I have a few guy friends and I think one of them might like me but none of them ask me!!! They just act all flirty but never ask!!!!!

If you are told you are HOT by friends, then think about this.... who comes to mind when you say that? For me, it is the trampish Paris H. Is that what you are projecting out there? If I were a guy, I wouldn't touch that with a twenty foot pole. No one wants to be with that for long.
Start developing a hobby you have put off for too long that gets you around other singles... bowling, tennis lessons, swim night at the Y, lectures at a book store, open mic night at a cafe for poetry readings. You will be around people who share at least one common thing with you. Meet and greet, and who knows, you could be off and running.
But please.... don't try so hard to be Hot. (It's so shallow)

if you're too hot, they'll be EXTREMELY intimidated by you. you could be the hottest chick in school and not get a date because of that! Nobody really thinks that they're equal to you. They expect you to turn them down, and they don't want to be hurt and embarrased by you, so they don't take a chance. Let's say your friend did ask you, and you said no. would you still be friends, or would you always feel awkward around eachother and eventually would stop hanging out? they'd rather just stay friends than lose you.

I have a friend who is extremely attractive. At first I may have wanted to ask her out just for superficial reasons, but the more I got to know her, the more I realized that I would never be compatible with that kind of personality. We're still friends, but there is no way I would want to be any more than friends. You can be beautiful, but what else do you have going for you? Can you think of something about yourself that would deter a man from wanting you?

Maybe part of your hotness is you confidence with being independent. It is not crime to be single and like it. It should also give you the stability to pick the right partner when and if he comes along.
You can be single and not be lonely. Need a date. Ask him. or him or him or him!

Well just because you have exams doesnt mean you cant go out! Just take it easy and dont get completly smashed!! You should learn an instrument or sumthin, that always good fun, though learning stuff for your exam and learing an instrument may not b a good idea... ummm, talk to new people and make new friends. What ever you want really, its your life so live it how you want!! :) You dont need to feel lonely because u dont have a boyfriend right now, u have other friends! Ask yourself the following question: Are men necessary? If the answer is no, it shouldn't matter. Just enjoy being single and wanted. If the answer is yes, why don't you do the asking? It's accepted these days, believe me.
