I can actually here around 6 of them howelling in the woods near my house now. I want to go out for a walk or a nice midnight bikeride, but am afraid that they will tear me a new one. Should I go? Ps... If you say yes, I will keep you updated on my recovery.

coyotes are pack animals & should be respected. i carry 2 pistols. one has blanks, the other live loads. the noise & flash scares them away.( ive never shot one- i carry the live pistol cause we got bigger things than coyotes too)

If you have a large dog take him with you. Usually they don't attack humans. If you yell at them they'll take off.
