Deu 23:2 A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD.

Now if we look at the genealogy in Matthew 1

1. 'Judah' has slept with his daughter-in-law 'Tamar' and she gave birth to 'Perez' [Genesis 38]

2. 'Rahab' was a prostitute [Joshua 2:1]

3. Prophet David slept with Bathsheba (Uriah's wife) and she gave birth to 'Solomon' [2 Samuel 11]

4. Ruth is a Moabitess [Ruth 4:5]

Her is another translation:
"NO one of illegitimate birth shall enter the assembly of the LORD; NONE of his descendants, even to the tenth generation, shall enter the assembly of the LORD. NO Ammonite or Moabite shall enter the assembly of the LORD; NONE of their descendants, EVEN to the tenth generation, shall ever enter the assembly of the LORD."

i think your question is quite wrong... i read deu 23:2 and it says that the bastard or sinful shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord... in this situation, it speaks about the sinful and unclean people... they cannot enter into the presence of God. BUT - if they confess their uncleanness/sins, God is just to forgive them and they now can enter the congregation of God...
1. Judah did not intentionally slept with Tamar, he did not know that the woman was tamar - Gen. 38:16
2. Rahab is a harlot, but she helped the spies - Joshua 2:4
3. David was sorry for what he had done - 2 Samuel 12:13 onwards
4. Ruth still was blessed by the Lord - Ruth 4:13

And all were forgiven. They made their sacrifices to God, according to the Laws of the Old Testament.
If you are saying that Jesus was a bastard, You do not realize who Jesus' father was. Please read in the New Testament, Jesus father was God.(Holy Spirit) The God of the universe who made you and me. Read Matthew1:20-24.

firstly, according to judaism, the child of an unwed mother is not considered a bastard (mamzer).

secondly, by "enter into the congregation of the L-rd", this verse is saying that a mamzer may not marry a non-mamzer. otherwise, there is no difference between a mamzer and anybody else.

Be careful what you are playing with. You have your own translation, go to the original text and asked for the Holy Spirit guidance so that Lucifer will not lead you into trouble. Do not lean on your own understanding.

YES! You got it!
Deuteronomy was the law. When Jesus came His powerful message was that the outcasts, the sinners, and the marginalized were saved!
Read the rest of Matt. esp. ch.5

So? Whats your point??

That rule doesn't apply to Jesus because Jesus and God are one and the same. Jesus is God's word made flesh by God, hence Jesus and God are One.

How much research did you do to come up with that one? Don't you think you could spend your time more constructively?
