what is the best way to get your hair wavy. Not curly but, like loose waves, if u have shoulder-length hair. I have tried braiding my hair when it's wet but, it just doesn't work

Big pin curls does a really great job.
About 30 of them all over will do the trick!

Braid you hair many times. Then sleep on it (this may be hard) and then the next morning, remove the elastic holding the braids and the hair will become wavy (or just leave it for as long as you can then remove the elastics holding them). Make the amount of hair to braid more, for better bigger waves.

Wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo and use minimal conditioner. Try a mousse or leave in gel, but just a bit, don't use too much or it will weigh your hair down. Blowdry upside down and use hot rollers. Run your fingers through your hair after it has cooled a bit. Put hairspray on your fingers, not your hair, and use your fingers to put spray at the roots, then spray your whole head. Use a sprunch spray like Aussie. It helps hold the curl.

First, start with dry hair (I blow dry mine) , add a little gel or whatever will hold your hair best, then hang your head upside down and use a large barrel curling iron or a medium barrel, depending on the wave that you want. Wrap your hair around it like you are going to create a spiral curl. Flip your hair over and finger style. Your hair will be so bangin'!

sleep with a long braid(jsut one) or scrunch your hair up with your hands with moose, or wear it in a tight pony tail, and sleep in it(real tight) and then let it go, because that will give you waves from the tight rubberband or scrunchie and it will have a line and then a big wavy, so youll have a wavy hair

Use a curling iron and curl your hair. Then wet the curls a little and comb it only a little bit. Finally, blow dry your hair and put in some hairspray.

Try the braids wet and then hair spray.

You can buy white spongy rollers which have a wire in them that you fold over to keep in place. They're cheap, easy to sleep in, look great after you take them out. (You put them in while your hair is wet and then take them out when your hair is dry.)

ok this may sound silly but ironically im doing it right now...wash your hair at night, towel dry, add mouse... put it in a messy bun on the top of your head....it gives it kinda a messy wave look...its worth a try i love it
