...and he died for your sins as long as you believe it.

Is this a sensible argument?

No more or less irrational or illogical than some of the Atheist's arguments...

No. the universe must have a creator, and therefore if you are half as smart as you think you are, you will search for Him until He has been found. And I would suggest that a good starting point would be with the ONE and ONLY founder of any of the world's so called great religions who claims to have been the Creator, Sustainer, Savior, and Lord of that Universe. Jesus.

Just a suggestion.

By the way, when you decide that you would really like to know the answer to the question of what makes Jesus so special? and why Christianity is the ONLY religion that will get you to Heaven? there is an answer for that as well. But I warn you, the answer will force you to make a decision for or against Christ.

He is either a Liar, Lunatic, or Lord.

Why MUST the universe have a creator?? Why not believe that it always was, infinitely, and that it always will be.

The stuff of the universe, matter and energy, are interchangeable but not degradable. They interact with each other in space without ever being used up. Why believe that they were created... Einstein believed that neither energy nor matter could be created or destroyed. Don't you think that Einstein was a smart enough man to know what he was talking about?

In the beginning, the Word already existed. The Word, meaning Jesus Christ. I believe that Jesus Christ has been with God in spirit all along, even in creation. In the book of John Chapter 1 he says that He was with God, and He was God. He was in the beginning with God, and He created everything there is. Now, if you read Genesis 1:26 He says "Let us make people." US being the key word here...

Why MUST there be a creator? Because some story book says so? You ask christians who created god and they'll answer that god has always existed. Who is to say that the universe hasn't always existed also.

Nope, its completely stupid. The only rational argument that can be made for any religon is individual religious experience. However, people have religious experiences in all faiths, so the best a theist can really do is say "something is out there, and it feels right to worship it".

Most of them go WAY beyond that, though.

Makes no sense at all and there is major flaw in your argument: Jesus created nothing - he is a myth created by Christianity. Also, believing he died for your sins does not make it so. The universe does not work like that.

who says the universe has a creator? Just because we do not have a scientific explanation of the universe yet, doesn't mean there isn't one. i know....i know...you will all say that just because there isnt evidence of God it doesnt mean he doesnt exist. Well you are right. However, even if there was a creator of the universe...how can you jump to the conclusion that it must have been jesus...there is not link there...simply BLIND faith.

No.

Jesus is the only son of the creator, God.

And God is known by many different names. People just fail to realize that the entity that I know as God is sometimes called Allah or Jehova, or a dozen other names.

But yes, Jesus died on the cross for our sins - whether we believe it or not.

No.

To quote your own bible in Genesis...

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth..."

Was the specific name of Jesus (pbuh) ever mentioned as also being the creator?

As to the died part, I won't go into a debate with you on that because we greatly differ in belief.

nuf sed.

case closed.

Peace.
