Well NO the ocean won't be any deeper, it depends on the underwater landscape......considering if the landscape is higher then it should not be any deeper, as long as there are no additional water features that are brought from beyond earth, I don't think the ocean will be any deeper, ....UNLESS ALL the north and south pole Ices has melt, then that'll be a catastrophe for all of us!

Nah. Sponges are living things, and they use ocean water sort of the way humans breathe air. They don't really soak up water. They just circulate it.

This is one of those 'pound of feathers' questions. Forget the fact that what you're removing is a sponge. If you take anything out of a body of water, technically, the water level would drop, making it more shallow...

No. They take up mass that would otherwise be nonexistant, so if there were no sponges, it would actually be less deep, because less water would be displaced.
