Sometimes it is just the combination of things eaten. I am highly sensitive to milk and dairy products, and they make me swell up like a balloon. I am also similarly sensitive to soy products. Look at all labels on stuff you get in cans or boxes, and eliminate things you may feel are affecting them.
Other things that cause gas are onions, cabbages, broccoli, some leafy greens, beans and nuts. Apples, and highly fibrous fruits do the same. Just take it one item at a time, and make sure they don't have that one item for 3 or 4 days. If it stops happening, you may have a clue to the source.
Gas can be eradicated by a somewhat dilute glass of rootbeer or gingerale (just add lots of crushed ice). It will make them belch, and relieve some of the gassiness. Good luck!

Gasiness comes from taking in air while eating and drinking (which cannot be helped) or a reaction to food, which can be helped. Ask your pedatrician if it is ok to give your child Beano or Gas-X.

they are probably sensitive to something they are eating, what I used to do is drink a carbonated drink like soda and that would get me or my child to burping and letting a lot of the gas out. Good Luck =)

A glass of soda water will help expel gas. But to avoid it it has to be something in her diet like milk.
