My baby was born at 26 weeks and survuved 13 hrs. and 43 min.
Is it wrong to want to have another baby? My water broke at 23 weeks and i was in the hospital 20 days, the doctors were trying to keep her in as long as possible. Her lungs were not mature enough to survive. I didnt think this was going to happen to me because my sister lost her baby 2 years ago. I will never forget my baby, she was perfect. Destiny weighed 1 lb and 6 oz. she was 12 1/4 inches long. Has anyone had this happen and have a good outcome? How long should i wait to have another baby?

Gee, do u feel recovered and does your husband feel recovered.
I lost one at 12 weeks, so I know how it feels--kinda-I never had a chance to bury mine. The ground was too cold.
I did get pregnant again with my 4th child of which would not be in the world if I had not lost the baby, so he was the welcome gift.
Keep strong......I know it hurts and feels like such a loss.

Speaking from more from the heart I would say you really need to mourn your little girl first. My daughter miscarriage.2 years ago in Feb and was pregnant by April. We know have a beautiful 9mo granddaughter and she had problems all the way through. Mentally for sure because she wanted another baby but really was not ready and neither was her body.
You should at least wait 6 mo after you start having a normal cycle and feel strong enough emotionally. You will feel better about it in the long run. I wish you all the best and I am so sorry for your lost.

It is not wrong to want another baby. This is a personal choice that has no wrong or right answer. I think it is completely normal to want to have another child.

Perhaps you should consult with other women who have been in the same situation to hear opinions of families that have gone through similar things.

Try calling a 24/7 info line that can provide contacts/support groups about this matter.

Loosing a child is/can be a big event in the life of a woman/family.

It is said a full term pregancy takes about a year for the body to fully recover. Your situation is a little different since you were under hospital care for almost a month. Physically, you should consult your doctor and mentally/emotionally....only you know when you feel ready. Best of luck to you.

I heard from doctors that it takes about 1 year for the female body to fully recover after a pregnancy.
I,m so sorry to hear of your loss.

First of all, let me say how sorry i am for your loss.

This is a personal decision, and should be made by you and ur husband, privately.

There is no right or wrong answer to this. Just keep faith and stay strong. It seems like you're very strong already
