Simply put, no. The parent recieving the child support payments should regularly provide proof of how the money is being spent, IMHO. Good night!

I can tell you for a fact that it is not spent where it should be. I know this because I know someone who gets child support and she doesn't spend 1 dime on the kids. I know that's probably and hopefully not everyone who gets it, but she spends it all on herself. I wish the GOV would check on things like this.

If the child has shelter, a full belly and feels loved, then it is spent on the child. If one of these is missing, then there are bigger problems!

It may not be used directly on the children (toys, etc.) but is usually used toward rent, food, clothes, and other things that keep them alive and functioning.
