We should figure out a way together to make it a better forum. Many of us have lost our cool when bombarded with ugliness and hatred. Myself included. Praying for the help is certainly first and foremost, but I'm wondering if we can do more?

What do u mean by filth ?

I do hope it is not indicating non-christians ?

As christians are trying to SAVE the world by converting them....same psychology seem to be working here in YA.

Who are you to clean the world ? Has God given u the command ?

There is only person in the Universe whom you can reform...and that is YOU >>YOURSELF....so start working now

We should all try to respect each other.

I'm not talking about just Christians respecting others. I'm talking about all people here being respectful, because I don't believe we have to seem hateful just because we don't share the same views. I think we could all understand each other a little more if we were more respectful, which is a good thing. I'd like to understand people's views on things, and while I do want to give honest answers (which will include talking about my own faith), I don't want to say things in a way that will create hostility and close the doors to communication. I think people also need to get over their fear of listening to what people have to say. I've learned that it's not easy sometimes, but having understanding about others who don't share the same faith can be great. It allows us to communicate with each other more intelligently. When I don't understand something about someone's religion, I'd rather ask about it than make fun of it.

I understand what you are coming from but I don't see a neutral ground. The regulars who usually send filth didn't answer ur question so I believe that they are not wanting everyone point a view especially a christian. People of other faiths or non religious beliefs only want their sects to answer their question as if this is a chat room or group session yet they send messages and insults to bait us to answer to prove their point by causing strife. They do this to convert and send others who are truly searching to their side and unfortunately we do fall into that trap by attacking back and that soul heads to them for false answers. Much Prayer is the answer and answering in the Christian way is the only way to defeat Satan tactics. We must speak the truth in Love!

Unless Yahoo cleans it up, and I have been after them for quite a while now, it seems as if they are going to do absolutely nothing about it.

We can stop answering stupid ???, but then people that ask stupid ??? will answer them, no, unless Yahoo corrects the problem, we are left with all the stupid, sex ???, sometimes I scroll through 325 ??? just to get a serious ??? to answer.

Maybe if more of us filed a complaint with them, it might help, there are a lot of regulars that asked good ??? at the beginning, but they are no longer participating any more. And I can understand why, it's nothing more than a disgusting sex program now.

When data mounts ever more convincing arguments against a favored paradigm, all sorts of mental machinations allow us to retain our preconceived notions of reality. If we have spent much of a lifetime attempting to prove the validity of a premise in question, the emotional stakes are high. Cognitive dissonance, humanity's inherant ability to ignore unpleasent facts, helps us in our struggle to retain the error of our ways.

Can we do more? With what I have just stated, I don't think it's possible to do more. People will mostly be set in their ways and argue their point because they believe in it so deeply.

We don't want to fix what's not broke.
We enjoy the banter.
Of course a few get out of hand, but it's only to yank a christian chain.
The reason we have different religions is because there is so much disagreement! This forum is great for those differences.

Well since anyone can get on here, it will not stop. Its almost impossible to stop, but maybe it could clear up a bit. You kind of just have to weed through the sludge to get to the good religious discussion. Hopefully we can improve it though.

Respect

Respect for each other. Even our differences in opinions & views. And be more accepting of this. We are going to disagree but that doesnt mean we need to lash out at those differences. Be thankful we live in a world we have the opportunity to express our views openly.

And just like now....I get two thumbs down...why? What have I said that would be irritating to anyone....I just dont understand it all sometimes.

Bottles, we've got to be open to everyone, including people who are clamoring for attention by asking silly, infammatory or irrelevant questions. Have you considered that some of them might be here as counterpoint to test us? Maybe there's some Christians there who just want to find out a little more....?

Monitor those of your own faith. The only way to get through to someone is hearing it from one of their peers. Insults and stalking people don't help either! So next time you start getting hate mail from a pagan or Wiccan, let me know, I'll talk to them! Now do you want the list of Christians who have done this to me? ; )
Blessed Be....
