she wanted to break up with you gently. A woman can't move on if she knows she hurt someone's heart. It would be untrue to her nature... So she really wants out... just tell her that you give her as much space as she needs, and ask her what conditions this 'time to herself' involves. As in, is she expecting you to wait for her or not?
Just so you can get it out of her.

Give her space there may be things she is trying to deal with right now. If she still wants you then she'll be back coz she knows where you are. In this situation if patience does not work then nothing will.

wth, she's weird. maybe she wants to meet guys she already knows?
try the couple break thing. make a promise to each other to not see any one else something special like that to show you're devoted and willing to give her space.

Nothing. Let her go. And though
you *know* she wants to be
together again...you really don't.
"Time to herself" means you two
are through.
And if you're not? And maybe she
does want reconcile? You won't
accomplish anything by trying to
fix something that she wants broken.

It means she wants to play the field to see if there's anything better out there than you.Be smart and move on before she plays you even more.

Dude, when a woman wants a break, it means she doesn't want to feel guilty while she sees, tries to see, or fantasizes about someone else.
You can sit around and mope, you can masturbate, or you can find someone else.

Sometimes, we need to respect other's right to "time-out".
Just ask her how long she needs and then give her the time if it is reasonable to you.
After that time, if she is still not ready, then you call the shots.

She just means she needs time alone...(i am a woman too)...to think things through!!! that's all...just get busy doing whatever you like to do....so you do not dwell on her...
