It's not so much "loving your good looks" as having pride in your good looks. I, on the other hand, look like a computer geek and have a lot of trouble getting ANY girl to become attracted to me. Don't be so concerned about what you don't know of whether it would be a sin or not. If you devote yourself to God's Word, things that you don't understand about life and everything in between will start to make sense.

That's called pride, and that my dear is a SIN!
Proverbs 16:18 says-
Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. Better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly,Than to divide the spoil with the proud.
On the other hand it is a good thing to view your body as a temple, the Bible says , but not with a prideful spirit.
Treat your body with respect and use it for good works for the Lord.... being consumed with how great you look does not qualify as respect, BUT rather PRIDE!
