My girlfriend is great, she laughs at my jokes and we get along really well, but ever since I asked her out she's quiet around me and seems embarrased when I talked to her. After school she books out and doesn't even let me walk her to the bus. Do you think she's just embarrased, or could she be regreting her decision.

It sounds like she is really shy to be alone around you. In public and with friends it's one thing, but when she's alone with you it's something else. She's most likely shy and doesn't know what to say or how to act.

If you've known her for a long period of time and she's not normally this way it could be. But if you both haven't really gotten to know each other and now this is happening it could go either way. Sometimes on the flip side girls can be so infatuated with a guy that when they're together she's scared she's going to say or do something to mess it up. If she doesn't really want ANYTHING to do with you then I would go with your instinct and confront her. From the way you explain it I think you're right. Sorry!

only she knows why she acts the way she does around you latley. you need to have a honest talk with her to find that out. I don't have enough information to give a good answer to that question. The best bet is to alway ask you partner. dont be shy....just say how you are feeling about it and let her respond. Then you will know.

Is this her first relationship? If so, she might be unsure of to be in a relationship. Or, she might not be comfortable with PDA. Without knowing her, of course, it's hard to say. If you think deep down that she's regretting her decision and doesn't want to be with you, you need to confront her and find out the truth. There's no sense in driving yourself crazy. Good luck!

Best Regards,
Holly

It's probably just made her feel awkward around you. When you're friends with someone it's like okay, no pressure, you're just having fun. Then, when you start dating someone it's like oh wait, I feel like I have to impress this person. Just take it slowly and let her know that you're still friends, and just slowly become more than that. Talk to her about it, and ask her what she's thinking.

well, some of that could depend on age. if she isn't used to dating yet, then she might not know how to act with you. she is probably just trying to get used to the boyfriend/girlfriend thing.

things take time...don't push the issue, and just go on being your normal self. things will fall into place.

Maybe she doesn't know how to be someone's girlfriend. She might not know how to act around you now that you're dating, try and gradually get her to hang out with you more till she becomes more comfortable

It sounds like your still on the young side. I bet she is shy to have a relationship. Try calling her on the phone or IMing her and get her more comfortable with you.

She's not into you or you have bad hygiene. Ask her what's the problem and move on with your life if you need to. I'm not a big fan of wasting time.
