Don't give up, don't stop i know it hurts for it hurts me as well. but some one out of all the people you tell will be saved and though it is just one, God will leave the ninety nine and save the one lamb that has gone astray. Sadly my brother, I am a soldier who has seen many dead bodies, after a while like veterans of war, it just doesn't bother you any more. It hurts the most knowing this, that this soldier can look at a dead body and stare without fear. This is a horrible war, so many are dying, so many are dead, they just won't listen as the prophets said, lord who has believed our report? I wish i was home, I miss my home, this world is a horrible place to live in. I am so sick of the wisdom of these people, I am sick of this world they are creating, they are abandoning god, when it was not us but God who gave us peace from war and prosperity in this great nation which he forged out of dirt.
I just do what i am told, I say what the lord tells me to say and when they choose not to listen, I just walk away. No pain, no regret, I just walk away, i was just following orders, God help us all, it is not me they deny, it is their father whom they just rejected.
This old soldier cries, for I am cold as steel, I feel nothing, I can't for the more you think about it, the more it hurts, can't stop my brother, got to keep moving forward to the next battlefield.

Ok - I am agnostic and I think that every religion has valid concepts, so this I what I would tell anyone who wanted to spread the word about their faith:

Make sure you are not preaching, just informing. People do not like to be told what to do. If you are inflexible about hearing the point of view of others you will always be frustrated. You say " I live feeling like all my efforts of telling people about God has been in vain" - ok fair enough. Make sure that when you speak to people about God, you are not telling - that's a little insulting. It should be a discussion or a dialog - it should never be a monolog.

ps ryan james- how true - wisdom about spiritually is SHARED - never told.

Funny. I was sitting here in front of my screen thinking the same after answering a person's mocking question. I deal with it one question at a time. You know, the big guy said we would have to go through this. It's all part of the deal. And your efforts are not in vain. The person you're responding to, may at some point awaken. Or someone else may be reading your response and they may see the light. And you'd never know it. Except for the fact of having FAITH that you've done well. Peace my friend!!

Intro,
That would be the devil attempt to beat you down.

Look, God does the changing in men's hearts. It's always been that way. They can't even WANT to come to God unless His Spirit is drawing them in. So preach the Gospel, and pray that God will ise you, and keep on keeping on!

Read the Bible if you are feeling weak and pray that you enter not into temptation. God has aaaaaaalllllllll the power. He's a loving ang giving God. Ask Him for some understanding, and He said that He will give it to you.

You know that already!

I get more frustration from Christians who think nothing of the gospel.
I care about unbelievers, but I don't let them frustrate me, because that would just be way too much frustration. I think it's good to share the gospel, remembering that we may plant many seeds in people's hearts without knowing it. We glorify God by telling people about Him, and if they don't receive it, maybe they'll receive it from someone else in the future.

Don't sweat the peoples' reactions, my friend, just keep on sowing that seed! It's up to the Father who will believe His truth and who will refuse it. We know that some of the seed will fall on rocky soil. Our job is just to get the Word out there to all nations. Your efforts are NOT in vain--you're doing exactly as He commanded.
Blessings to you!

Don't despair, its their choice to believe or not to believe, and don't judge that their belief is right or wrong, just keep on being a good christian and you don't know how many may be converted without your knowledge because of your acts of kindness. People don't like to be preached to, myself I like to have intelligent conversations regarding religions and beliefs and myths, and I like to study and go see for myself the answers to some questions.

Telling people about God is only good if the people want to hear about him, remember Jesus didn't have to seek out the people they came to him, this is why he instructed his apostles not to transfer themselves from house to house but to choose a house that welcomed them and let those who are seeking come to hear the good news of God's Kingdom.

Peace be with you and keep the Faith, its the only thing that makes living worth while, knowing there is salvation for those who can't see the evil that they do.

Your efforts ARE in vain. Do you honestly believe anyone who speaks English hasn't heard about all this Jesus nonsense at least 1000 times?

The biblical directives to spread the "good news" were given during a time when Christianity was not yet well established. Have you considered the possibility that when Jesus told his disciples to spread the word, he was actually talking to his disciples and not to you personally?

People only believe in things they can see. You shall know they are Christians by their love. If you go through life only worring about how many people you convert to Christianity, all you'll get is a headache and an angry Jesus. Enjoy your salvation and maybe people will be drawn to Jesus through you; love, don't hate, that's the key.

first off is there really an proof that God exists. No there is not. It is something we are taught by our parents or care givers.

yes there is a bible, but how do we know that is real.....

my point is.. some believe Jesus has risen from the dead and others are waiting for him to come. ( Jehovah's)

Then there are those who believe in Allah. Why do Christan's put down people who pray to Allah. They believe is Allah is real, like Christan's believe God is real.

Then there are the people who India pray to some statue, or what ever you wish to call it. How do we know that person is not for real.

my point is, we do not know..... and I could take item and say it is God and get people to pray to is and worship it...
